From 12 to 15 January the Council sent a mission to Afghanistan, led by Kazakhstan; from 28 April to 2 May the Council sent a mission to Bangladesh and Myanmar, co-led by Kuwait, Peru and the United Kingdom; and from 5 to 7 October the Council sent a mission to the Democratic Republic of the Congo co-led by France, Equatorial Guinea, and the Plurinational State of Bolivia. The relevant committee then considers the proposal, often in consultation with the designating State, and makes a final decision on whether or not to de-list.
