Check the thickest part of your salmon fillets with a fork.

Love Salmon and it will be nice to do something different with it than what we do now! The sauce never thickened up! It makes the dish! In preparation of any fish, I always rinse the fish under cold running water first, soak it with plenty of lemon juice and let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes depending on what fish I am using. I’m spending Christmas with my son, and we will be relaxing from school and work enjoying each others company.

My family loves seafood and I’ve made a version of this in the past . Christmas day will be spent with my brother’s family, hopefully I will be able to use just a cane to walk by then. I eat a low carb high fat diet, but my husband eats a very strict low carb low fat diet so I served his with a lemon wedge instead of the sauce. Could be a good choice for New Years Eve. My husband says its “DELICIOUS” make it again please. Lemon should not have any bitterness to it unless you are using the white part of the rind. I will try this, but frustrated that the amount of pasta called for is not more specific. I might change my mind about our Christmas dinner since it will be just my husband and myself. Delicious ! We will be preparing this for our Saturday evening meal! . Half and half will not work as the lemon juice will curdle it but light cream was fine. Fresh wild salmon came home again and I looked in vain for the recipe – and then made it up as I went along!
